What changes when artists and academics work together to centre the art, voices, and self-representations of people too often pushed to the side? 

Bodies in Translation supports collaborations among artists and academics that put culturally, cognitively, affectively, and physically diverse artist practitioners at the centre of creations and social change. The Trent team works together on Aging Vitalities, which uses digital storytelling to render new representations of aging. The projects are situated in Re•Vision Centre for Art and Social Justice, of which Dr. Chivers is an associate researcher.
